TRIVIA

Released on November 18, 1994 in Japan. The first console port of Super Street Fighter II X.

Graphics are more accurately reproduced when compared to the previous 16-bit versions of Street Fighter II, but there is no parallax scrolling.

The remixed soundtrack featured in the game was originally used on the FM Towns Marty version of Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, but the 3DO version obviously features remixes of tunes that are exclusive to Super Street Fighter II X (such as Gouki's theme and the introduction sequence).

Simultaneous button cancels (more commonly referred to as CPS1 Chains) are featured in this game, something that only existed in arcades from the original Street Fighter II to Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting.

The SUPER (OLD) characters are absent from this version of the game.

TIPS AND TRICKS

Enter Versus Battle. At the character select screen hold A+B+C+L+R+P. Hold down all those buttons until the Handicap and Stage Select screen appears. Gouki will be displayed as your character when this screen appears.
