Capcom Generation Dai 5 was released on December 03, 1998 in Japan.
The fifth and last volume of the Capcom Generation series, this was the only volume that was released in North America, as Street Fighter Collection 2, whereas in the PAL region, it was released separately from the previous four volumes, which were all collected as part of a bundle.
This version of the game was ported to the Sony Playstation 2, Microsoft XBOX, and Sony PSP for Capcom Classics Collection, Microsoft XBOX 360 (Street Fighter II Dash Turbo only) and Apple IPhone for Capcom Arcade System and Street Fighter II Collection.
Clear Arcade Mode in Street Fighter II to unlock artwork for Super Street Fighter II in the Collection menu. Clear Street Fighter II Dash to unlock artwork and sketches of Super Street Fighter II X in the Collection menu. Clear Street Fighter II Dash Turbo to unlock a Sound Remix test option in the Collection menu.
Clear Arcade Mode to unlock Sound Remix for that game. The music used is from the FM Towns version of Super Street Fighter II and 3DO version of Super Street Fighter II X.
Clear Arcade Mode without continuing to unlock CPU Battle mode for that game. You can view the end credits depending on how many rounds you lost against your opponent.
Clear Arcade Mode once in each game to unlock Super Versus Mode. You can pit characters from the different versions in this mode, such as Street Fighter II Ryu versus Street Fighter II Dash Ken.
