Pub Quest

In March 2019, Chris Shrigley, who programmed this 100% BASIC game, published the game's listing on its blog and said "The first commercially published game I ever made. It’s called “Pub Quest”, it’s 100% BASIC, and I wrote it in 1983. The game was published by a Dream Software based in Basingstoke. They were a nice bunch and I met them once at ECTS way-back-when. I wrote another text adventure called Mad House, that used a disk based database (very swish) and was massive with 100s of locations. Sadly Dream Software when bust before it got published and the game was lost forever."
