TRIVIA

Oubliette was originally conceived and created by Jim Swaiger on the spring of 1977, and was released to the users of the University of Illinois' PLATO system on Novembet 18, 1977.

The authors of the game during the period from September 1977 to May 1980 were Dr. John Gaby, Dr. Bancherd (Mike) DeLong and Jim Schwaiger.

The Varget, the ancient language, was created for Oubliette by David Emigh, who also served as consultant during the game's early development.

In fal of 1979, two additionla authors, Ken Bourgue and Bruce Szablak, joined the authour team and continued to improve the game.
