Homeware - Message Magnets
Use this simple message program to turn your home computer into a message center. Assign a "refrigerator magnet" icon to each member of the family, then leave a message for someone. Their "magnet" will then appear on the refrigerator so they will know they have a message. A simple click on their icon will bring their message (or messages) up so they can view it (them). Messages are saved to disk, so you can run the program, leave a message, then quit the program and do your regular business. The next person to use the computer can run Message Magnets, check to see if they have any messages, leave messages for others, then do their own work.

Artware - Backdroppers III
This is our third collection of Windows Wallpaper files. These .BMP files can be added to your current collection simply by copying them into your Windows directory. This month we have the following images:

GRDINO.BMP - This is a dinosaur (brachiosaurus, I think) pattern.
SPACE.BMP - Invaders from outer space!
ROBOT.BMP - Your computer's little electronic friend.
8BALL.BMP - Turn your computer into a pool hall.

These wallpaper files are completely compatible with Win Decor, our wallpaper customization program published on ODM #82.

Gameware - Halloween Hijinx
Take a walk on the wild side of All Hallow's Eve. In this unique game, you are a little girl named Maria, and you are trying to collect as many goodies as you can on Halloween. Unfortunately, the dark side of Halloween has snuck up on you. Before you know it, you are on the run from ghosts, bats and all manner of evil spooks and goblins. Your only way out is to outwit them and gather all the tricks and treats you can.

Customware - Flying Lines
Flying Lines is another of our Windows screen saver modules. We also have a DOS program which mimics the Windows screen saver. Either way you will be fascinated by the colorful flying lines as they bounce around your screen. You control how many lines there are, and how many times they reflect upon themselves. Create colorful kaleidoscopic images with ease!

Mindware - Astronomy Quizzer
This month we are trying something new. We have published quiz programs before, but we have usually just published a quiz. This month we have an astronomy quiz, but we also have an astronomy essay which you can read before or after you take the quiz.

Shareware - Klondike
This is a new adventure for us. We have decided to showcase a shareware product that our editors have found particularly useful or entertaining. This month we are presenting a solitaire card game called "Klondike." Finally, we are using this to announce our new shareware product "Shareware Spotlight," which is a monthly shareware subscription, similar to On Disk Monthly, except the programs published on Shareware Spotlight are shareware, meaning you will need to send your shareware fees to register the programs.
