Our society is becoming increasingly dependent on computers. Students need to see that, even on those days when they never touch a computer, computer technology greatly affects their lives. This demonstration of the pervasiveness of computers in our lives guides students to a better understanding of how society is being changed by computers and how people can use this new technology to their advantage.
