Pac-Man World 2 for PlayStation 2 was released on February 24, 2002 in North America.

Also re-released 2003 as a Greatest Hits edition [Model SLUS-20224GH].

The player collects tokens during the course of the main game that unlock older Pac-Man incarnations found in an arcade in Pac-Village. The player must collect a certain number of tokens to unlock the games in the arcade.

The unlockable games are :

Pac-Man : The player must collect at least 10 tokens to unlock.
Pac-Attack : The player must collect at least 30 tokens to unlock.
Pac-Mania : The player must collect at least 100 tokens to unlock.
Ms. Pac-Man : The player must collect at least 180 tokens to unlock.

NOTE: Pac-Attack was never an arcade game. The version of Pac-Attack featured here is the updated version featured in the PlayStation 2 compilation "Namco Anthology 2" released exclusively in Japan.
