TRIVIA

Platform Action Design:
Departing from traditional linear brawlers, the game combines run-and-gun shooting mechanics with platforming challenges, fistfights, and defusing bomb puzzles. Each cop features unique traits and animations suited to their cinematic persona.

Ocean Software's Movie Adaptations:
Developed during Ocean's peak era of licensed movie conversions, the game utilized the developer's experience with 16-bit hardware to replicate recognizable scenes, such as office shootouts and high-stakes bomb defusings, complete with digitized character portraits.

Multi-Platform Development:
While the SNES version was built to leverage the console's color palette and sound capabilities, Ocean simultaneously coordinated versions for multiple platforms (including the NES, Game Boy, Amiga, and Sega Genesis/Mega Drive), each tailored to the specific hardware constraints of the system.
