Prime Numbers [Model MECC-I119]

Students discover the properties of prime numbers and learn about prime factorization as they formulate hypotheses and test them on the computer. The concept of an algorithm is introduced both in computer programming and in the method of determining primes. Further, an exciting game pits students against an insatiable, factor-eating monster that they must outwit in order to win.
