This is a mate to CP/M 1 and contains two major CP/M utilities which work together to serve a useful function. The first is INDEX, which produces an indexed listing of files on a disk. The second is a group of three .COM files which work both separately and together. Their summed effect is a program which does the equivalent of MULTI DISK CATALOG III from Sensible Software, on the Apple II. The first is FMAP which produces a map of the files on a disk, and will also send that listing of files to a disk file called NAMES.SUB. To do the latter, use the command: FMAP A: F. With the UCAT command, the updated listing of files on a disk from the NAMES.SUB file is merged with the current MAST.CAT which is a master catalogue of all your logged CP/M files. MAST.CAT will then provide you with the full listing of your CP/M files. To see the catalogued listing, use the CAT command, which displays the information stored in the MAST.CAT file. Be sure to list and read the documentation in the .DOC files.
