CP/M Disk 18 © 198? LOGIC [Loyal Ontario Group Interested In Computers]

This disk originated with Sonia Brock, a LOGIC member who authored an article on text file manipulation in the Maple Orchard, and from Dr. Ross Wilcock, an Apple CP/M user from Woodstock. On this disk you will find MFT50.COM, a program for multiple file transfers using a single disk drive, as well as FILTX2.COM and APPLIFY.COM which prepares CP/M text files for your Apple. The M-BASIC program CONVERT.BAS accomplishes the same purpose. The ability to modify your Wordstart program to work with the Epson printer is included, with instructions given in the file entitled READ.ME. A number of disk utilities are included. D and DD produce a sorted directory which lists the files on a disk. DISK.COM is a file transfer and text file list utility (rather like SWEEP). FBAD looks for bad sectors on a disk. SAP sorts and packs a directory. The UCSD files will transfer a Pascal text file into the CP/M environment and allow you to read Pascal files from CP/M. A version of the Forth language is present. MDM730.COM for the Apple Communications Card and MDM730PD.COM for the PDA232 Communications Card are versions of the popular MODEM7 program which are included here for Club use.
