TRIVIA

Releases in July 1988 in Japan. The title of this game translates from Japanese as 'Legend of Makai'.

The previous Jaleco game, P-47, was well-received but the high cost of the board and the reluctance to change ROMs made it difficult to sell, so they decided for the new game, Makai Densetsu, to make cheaper boards to boost sales.

This game is known outside Japan as Legend of Makai.
