TRIVIA

Created by Ken Cochran in 1981 while he was recuperating from heart bypass surgery. The first prototype used three hoops and was called Triple Shot. After charging for it and finding long lines of players, he eventually developed this coin-operated model, which launched a whole new genre of arcade gaming.

Became a popular option that has mainly been focused on home sales for many years, due to the compact and lightweight nature of the game, which uses fabric for the ball return ramp, as opposed to wood.

In 2025, the company released their first commercial Pop-A-Shot model in 25 years, the Pop-A-Shot Elite.
