Takaya Imamura, the artist behind the Japanese release back boxart of Star Fox Adventures, introduced a distinctive artistic touch. Notably, this marked one of the early instances where Fox's head was depicted with a stylized Noh Kitsune mask appearance, departing from the more animalistic proportions seen in-game and in previous editions like Star Fox on SNES and Star Fox 64. Some fans, albeit in a less appreciative tone, have coined the term "bellhead" to describe this design, owing to its somewhat bell-shaped resemblance.
