TRIVIA

A Nonlinear Narrative Masterpiece:
Unlike traditional linear action titles of the era, Phantom 2040 featured a complex, branching storyline with over twenty different endings depending on the player's choices, ethical decisions, and path through the game's labyrinthine sectors.

Headgames' Technical Ambition:
Developed by the talented studio founded by game industry pioneer Warren Spector and Doug Barnett, the game pushed 16-bit hardware with fluid character animations, high-tech gadgetry (including grappling hooks and plasma cannons), and an atmospheric cyberpunk aesthetic.
