A heavily modified version of Minecraft Dungeons, exclusive to arcades.

Minecraft Dungeons Arcade is an epic, action-packed adaptation of the popular console and computer game Minecraft Dungeons, a multiplayer “dungeon crawler” set within the Minecraft universe.

In Minecraft Dungeons Arcade, up to four players use a diverse arsenal of melee and range weapons to battle through hordes of dangerous enemies and monstrous bosses across nine unique levels! With every play, the stunning cabinet vends one of 98 collectible cards that fit into one of five categories – Melee, Range, Armor, Pet or Skin – and can be used to customize the player’s adventure. 38 BRAND NEW cards have been recently added with the addition of a new underwater adventure level – Hidden Depths!

TRIVIA

First released as a Dave & Busters exclusive in May 2021; The game was then made available to everyone else in July.

A 2-player SD version was unveiled at Amusement Expo 2024 in Las Vegas, NV. It is expected to ship out in April 2024.

The game vends a card with each play. These can change out a player's skin, weapon, ranged attack, armor, and/or pet. A box of cards comes in at 700; The location has to scan an authorization card for the game to work for 700 plays.

The game initially shipped with Series 1 cards. Series 2 was released in November 2022, bringing the total number of cards up to 98.

The head of Play Mechanix, George Petro (of Midway fame, designer of TROG, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and more), stated that years before Minecraft Dungeons had been a console game, his company made a proposal to turn the base Minecraft into a similar dungeon crawling game for arcades. Mojang didn't move forward with their proposal at the time, although later released the game that would be Minecraft Dungeons. The implication is that Mojang thought it was a great idea and created the console game from that proposal, but afterwards the game would finally come to arcades as originally proposed.
