TRIVIA

F1 Grand Prix Star was released in December 1991.

Setting the region to USA or Europe (in dip switches) will display the speed in a mile per hour, where Japan or France setting will show a kilometer per hour.

Japanese setting doesn't have an option to choose a race course.

Germany course resembles (more or less) Hockenheimring before reconstruction.

Monaco course seems to be a bit wider in this game than on actual streets.

Japan course is a Jaleco's original.

This game has no scoring system; instead it has a top time table. If your time is 4th or lower-ranked, it will not be registered.
Up to 2 Grand Prix Star machines can be linked for double-player game.
