SurfBurgers
Years ago, I promised my mom, who is a third-grade teacher, that I would write a fun ’n’ exciting math game for the IIgs in her classroom. I started on a few ideas, but I always got sidetracked by other projects. However now, in addition to not wanting my mom to think I’m untrustworthy, I had the additional motivation of wanting my mom to think that I was actually working this summer. Plus, writing a game about a guy on a flying surfboard had always been a dream of mine. So I came up with SurfBurgers. In SurfBurgers, you are a guy on a flying surfboard, being attacked by, well, flying hamburgers with math problems on them. Your job is to shoot them with your BurgerBlaster.

MightyPrefix
Most NDA’s just aren’t “Finder-smart.” It seems I’m always running into the problem where I have a Finder window open, and I need to manipulate one of the files in it with an NDA. So I select the NDA, and it puts up a Standard GetFile dialog box… but it’s in some random directory, nowhere near the file that I want. In Finder, the file is sitting right in front of my face, yet I still need to navigate through the NDA’s GetFile box to access the file. Fix those problems forever!! – with MightyPrefix.

MightyUnits
Haven’t you always wanted an NDA that could convert almost any kind of units, quickly and easily? Well, now you’ve got one. Using MightyUnits is simple. On the left side of the window is a series of radio buttons corresponding to the unit types that MightyUnits will convert. You can convert length, area, capacity, weight, temperature, time, angle, or speed. Simply click on what you want. Very slick and easy!

Pick Quick
There’s probably some folder that you have to open all the time, but it’s buried somewhere on your hard drive. And everytime you have to go tunnelling through a bunch of Finder windows to get to it, you scream out in anguish that there must be a better way. Sure, you could drag the folder to your desktop, but then it’s no longer in its original window when you need it there. You could make an alias, but aliases get messy and have ugly icons. Well, now there is a better way, and it’s called PickQuick!

Aauuuugggghhhh
What do you do when you’re angry at your Apple IIgs? When the spreadsheet won’t add up, when you can’t beat the game, when you can’t think of what to write, when the Window Manager doesn’t like your content draw routine? There’s a new way to take out your anger in a way that won’t cause your insurance rates to go up – use Aauuuugggghhhh!!!

Font
Slender: Well, how should I describe this font? Slender maybe? See for yourself, it is a rather thin slender font that would look best in correspondance matters. Not really thick enough for initial caps or anything so commanding as that. Slender is provided to you in plenty of bitmap sizes as well as TrueType™. To use the TrueType font, you will need Pointless™ by WestCode Software 1-619-679-9200. We’ve also provided a couple of bitmap sizes for those of you who don’t have Pointless.

Clip Art
Western: We know it’s cold out, so we’re giving you this collection of western clip art to warm you up. Browse through animals and other western gear that make you feel like a cowboy and evoke the heat of the desert!

Spencer’s Corner
Dancing Santa: Folks in our churches complain that the holiday season is so full of commercialism that its various religious significances are all but eclipsed by the hype. So here I go adding to the problem by bringing you a Dancing Santa for this month’s Spencer’s Corner.
