Pensate
Pensate – a simple game built around complex moves. The goal of Pensate is move your piece from the bottom of the playfield to the top (while avoiding the enemy pieces). It seems simple at first, but the game gets progressively more difficult, and requires more and more strategic thinking as things progress.

Area Codes DA
This handy desk accessory gives you instant information about area codes in the United States and Canada. Type in any area code and find out what area it’s for. Type in the name of a major city and you’ll get the area code for that city. You can even add your own cities and area codes if you want; it’s the perfect utility for anyone who does a lot of long distance calling around the U.S. or Canada! (NOTE: The data included with this program was correct at time of original publication but should no longer be considered accurate.)

MenuWiper
Heh heh, heheheheh, MenuWiper is cool! Install this system extension and restart, then watch what happens when you run programs.

AppleWorks GS
Font Show: With all of the fonts available for use on an Apple IIgs, it seems the ways of viewing and printing fonts are limited to NDAs that show you fonts but don’t print, or control panels and stand-alone programs that print without showing keystrokes. However, the AppleWorks GS database contains all of the necessary components to show and print any of the fonts installed in your system——thus Font Show was born.

AppleWorks GS
Index: Anyone who has computed for a while is sooner or later overwhelmed with diskettes. There are originals, copies of originals, hard disk backups, special files, and on and on. One of the best ways to get around this problem is to use vinyl diskette pages and D-ring binders. They’re great for keeping your disks organized, and you can pick them up at many office supply and computer stores. Once you use them, every disk you have can be neatly filed away. But there’s still a problem——where exactly is each disk? A disk page index is mighty handy for finding those disks once you’ve got them organized in the D-ring binders… and here’s one just for that purpose!

Print Shop Letterhead
Spring: Softdisk is proud to present more of Ted’s art work. This month he has created a graphic for use in the Letterhead module of Print Shop® IIgs. Load it and use it. It’s great!

Spencer’s Corner
Snowman: Bundle up and hit the yard ’cause the Snowman is coming your way this month in Spencer’s Corner. In the tutorial section, you’ll learn how to “Flip Horizontally” a 640-mode paint graphic in Platinum Paint!

Clip Sounds
A cool medley of sounds await you on Softdisk G-S this month. From ApeMan to YoureOut, you’ll love them all! The sounds we are providing this month are in the rSound format, so they can be used by the System 6.0 sounds control panel as well as many other IIgs applications. To use the sounds as system sounds, just place them in the Sounds folder inside the System folder on your startup disk. The easiest way to do this is to let the Installer do it for you.
