SAM – The Softdisk Adventure Machine 2.0
The Quest of the Juggler: Being apprenticed to the best juggler in the land should be enough excitement for anyone. In fact, being thrown headlong into an adventure was the last thing on your mind. The only problem with fate knocking on your door is that you’re obliged to answer. Now you find yourself in a deserted castle looking for a “mythical” silver sphere. And a way out of the castle. That would be nice to find, too…

Read Only
How many times have you launched AppleWorks GS or WordWorks Pro or some other full-featured word processor just to look at some “Read.Me” file? Well, I’ve done it more times than I care to think about. Quite often I spent more time launching the word processor and returning to Finder than it took for me to read the darned file! ead Only is a Finder extension that enables you to read (but not edit, hence the name) various text-based documents.

Clip Sounds
A cool medley of sounds await you this month. From Beethoven to Sub Horn, you’ll love them all!

Spencer’s Corner
Abashed Knight: Surely everyone remembers from his or her childhood that knight errant, made famous by A.A. Milne, known as Sir Brian Botany——“I am Sir Brian (kerthunk). I am Sir Brian (kersplat). I am Sir Brian, as bold as a lion: take that, and that, and that!” Pictured this month is any poor, unfortunate slob who shows up at your tournament——any tournament, from tennis to tiddlywinks——too late for the thrill of battle and the awarding of the spoils.

Print Shop GS Envelopes
This month Ted has created two envelope graphics for use in the Editor of Print Shop® IIgs or Print Shop Companion IIgs. Load ’em and use ’em, they’re great!

Word Search
Summer Sports and Winter Sports: Word Search places letters on a 19 by 15 board with words hidden vertically and horizontally—both backwards and forwards. Take your pick from three different difficulty settings and watch as the clock ticks away. Beat the clock and move to the next puzzle! Can you solve all the puzzles?
