Simulated Stock Exchange is an educational game in which players can buy and sell stock at a simulated market. Each player starts with an amount cash and can trade freely in stock of existing companies. The values used are actual values from the real stock exchange. Aside from buying and selling players can also engage in other features of the stock market such as selling short, trading on margin, investing in savings accounts, earn dividends, receive stock splits and dividends. Transactions also incur commissions to brokers. Users can use an audit program to perform actions and another program to poll all the activities of the day for all players playing on the mainframe.
