Contents:

BackDrop
BackDrop is a new desk accessory (NDA) that allows you to change your desktop pattern to any of the colorful patterns included, or any pattern or picture you make on your own. It’s designed to be easy-to-use and great to play around with. We know it’s succeeded in that regard because we get sooooo much mail about this system embellishment. If you’re not using it yet, you’d better try it out this time!

MIDISynth Songs
This month we’ve included two original creations: Blues and Javo. Use Minstrel (a New Desk Accessory that lets you play music and use your computer at the same time) from Issue #62 or your Bonus Disk to load and play these great new selections.

Font
Casablanca: A pencil-thin serif font, Casablanca will delight the masses when you use it for your casino party invitation (or any event having to do with classical movies that have been colorized). It may look a bit crowded or squeezed on the screen but it’s a beauty when printed! Casablanca is available in TrueType™ and bitmap format.

SeeHear 2.1
SeeHear is a New Desk Accessory (NDA) that demonstrates the ‘G’ and ‘S’ in “Apple IIgs.” It allows you to listen to and view various sound, graphic, and animation file formats by selecting them from the NDA or by double—clicking on them from Finder. Now displays 3200-color graphics!!!!

Spencer’s Corner
Leprechaun: With all the spring holidays like Valentine’s Day and Easter approaching I didn’t want to overlook St. Patrick’s Day, especially since, being a Dutchman, I’m earnest enough by nature to want to keep everyone happy – even little green men.

Rooster 1.0.2
Originally published on issue #61, this update fixes the doesn’t-play- on-Sunday bug. It also adds the ability to play multiple sounds from within one sound file. For those of you that have never seen Rooster, it can make starting your GS an interesting and less predictable experience.

Clip Art
For lovebirds or lovers of our two most famous Presidents, we present Valentine/President Clip Art. You’ll have to look long and hard to find art better than this batch by Mary Ann and Ron. So grab a chair, turn on that printer and get to work——February’s just around the corner! As usual, our clip art is in the format most appropriate to use on your GS: APF (Apple-Preferred Format).

Clip Sounds
From Bounce to Fantasy, the four sounds we are providing this month are in the rSound format so they can be used by the Sound Control Panel, SeeHear, Rooster, (or any in other IIgs applications that can read rSounds).
