Battle Gear 4

Battle Gear 4 was released in June 2005 in Japan.

* Show ideal racing line : In your TA (Time Attack) session, hold the triangular harzard button for 2 seconds until the ideal racing line shows up on the road.

* Turn boost off in human battles : While you are having a race with up to a maximum of three other human players, and if all of you agree to choose the Battle Mode (the option on your right), you can hold the View Change button all at the same time to step on the gas pedal for confirmation. This way you have turned the default boost off. That ensures a fair battle in that the car taking the lead will handle normally, and the ones behind will not get speed boosts as an unfair advantage.
