Actual Entry (non editable)
Rayman (c) 1995 Ubi Soft. Rayman is a platformer with a difference. It may look all cutesy-pie, but it's one of the toughest, most innovative games around. The graphics are super, full of colour (around 65,000 of them, approximately) and unflinching attention to detail, and the 250 digitised sound effects complement the look wonderfully. Gameplay is a joy, and with each power Rayman earns in his quest, new areas of the game - places you may have already visited but been unable to complete - are opened up, making for an incredibly long lifespan. Still wowing audiences old and new, Rayman is an essential purchase for all PlayStation owners who want a long-lasting platform challenge. Rayman is a game that grows on you the more it is played. - TECHNICAL - Game ID: SLES-00049 - TRIVIA - Export releases: [US] "Rayman [Model SLUS-00005]" [JP] "Rayman [Model SLPS-00026]" Reviews: [FR] July 1995, Consoles + N.45: 95/100 - STAFF - Idea: Michel Ancel, Frédéric Houde Character Development: Alexandra Steible Design: Michel Ancel, Serge Hascoët, Bruno Bouvret, Sacha Gentilhomme, Michaël Guez, Christophe Thibaut Animation: Alexandra Steible, Kamal Aitmihoub, David Gilson, Sophie Esturgie, Jacques Exertier, Gregoire Pons, Véronique Rondello, Béatrice Sauterau, Philippe Vindolet, Christian Volckman Background Artists: Éric Pelatan, Sylvaine Jenny Computer Graphics: Jean-Christophe Alessandri, Sophie Ancel, Nicolas Bocquillon, Jean-Marc Geffroy, Laurent Rettig, Olivier Soleil Programming: Vincent Greco, Yann Le Tensorer, Daniel Palix, Olivier Couvreur, Pierrick Crepy, Antoine Dodens, Eric Donnat, Antonio Ferreira, Philippe Fuentes, Benoit Germain, Bertrand Hélias, Frédéric Houde, Frederic Laudet, François Mahieu, Christian Mihalache, Sébastien Morin, Bogdan Radusi, Daniel Raviart, Olivier Rozier, Gilles Vanwalleghem Music: Stephane Bellanger, Didier Lord, Sylvain-Luc Brunet, Nathalie Drouet, Dominique Dumont, Kamel Founas, Rémy Gazel, Didier Gilbert Leglise, Jean-Marc Lichtmann, Frédéric Louvre, Olivier Mortier, Frédéric Prados, Stéphane Ronse, René De Wael, Olaf Zalcman Sound Effects: Stephane Bellanger, Didier Lord, Sylvain-Luc Brunet, Nathalie Drouet, Dominique Dumont, Kamel Founas, Rémy Gazel, Didier Gilbert Leglise, Jean-Marc Lichtmann, Frédéric Louvre, Olivier Mortier, Frédéric Prados, Stéphane Ronse, René De Wael, Olaf Zalcman Voices: Chris Benard, Emmanuelle Cosso, Douglas Rand, Stephen Perkinson Tests: Serge Hascoët, Bruno Barone, Thomas Belmont, Nicolas Bocquillon, Bruno Bouvret, Christophe Cavelan, Gunther Galipot, Sacha Gentilhomme, Marc Gioan, Michaël Guez, Benoît Maçon, Lionel Rico, Emmanuel Texandier, Christophe Thibaut, Dorian Thibaut Project Lead: Agnès Haegel Production: Gérard Guillemot (Ludimedia) Development: Michel Guillemot (Ubi Studios) Publisher: Yves Guillemot (Ubi Soft)
