TRIVIA

Released on December 5, 1986 (Friday) in Japan. The retail price was 6,800 yen.

The name comes from Chohei Kanbayashi's science fiction novel "Sentou Yousei Yukikaze," but the spelling of SILPHEED is a completely invented word. The reason is that when they tried to use the correct spelling as a logo, "SYLPHID" looked bad.
