Pac-Man World 2 for GameCube was released on March 19, 2002 in North America.

It was also re-released as a Player's Choice edition (bundled with "Pac-Man Vs.") on December 2, 2003. 

The player collects tokens during the course of the main game that unlock older Pac-Man incarnations found in an arcade in Pac-Village. The player must collect a certain number of tokens to unlock the games in the arcade.

The unlockable games are : 

"Pac-Man" : The player must collect at least 10 tokens to unlock.
"Pac-Attack" : The player must collect at least 30 tokens to unlock.
"Pac-Mania" : The player must collect at least 100 tokens to unlock.
"Ms. Pac-Man" : The player must collect at least 180 tokens to unlock.

NOTE: "Pac-Attack" was never an arcade game. The version of "Pac-Attack" featured here is the updated version featured in the PlayStation 2 compilation "Namco Anthology 2" released exclusively in Japan.
