Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure is a fast-paced action-platformer developed by Kavehouse and published by Activision. Serving as a triumphant modern revival of David Crane's iconic 1982 Atari 2600 classic, the game casts players as Pitfall Harry Jr., who must swing across vines, dodge snapping crocodiles, and battle hostile warriors through treacherous Mesoamerican jungles and temples to rescue his captured father.

TRIVIA

A Nostalgic Easter Egg:
In a brilliant nod to retro gaming history, the original 1982 Atari 2600 version of Pitfall! is fully playable as a secret bonus game hidden deep within the SNES cartridge's jungle stages.

Fluid Animation and Dynamic Combat:
Utilizing advanced motion-captured sprite techniques and lush, multi-layered parallax scrolling, the game gave Pitfall Harry an agile new moveset—including a swinging vine whip, climbing axes, and a variety of explosive projectiles.
