Nickelodeon GUTS is an action-packed sports party game based on the immensely popular children's live-action game show that aired on the Nickelodeon cable network. Developed by Realtime Associates, the game captures the high-energy athletic competition of the television series, letting players compete in extreme stunts, obstacle courses, and basketball challenges to earn pieces of the iconic Aggro Crag.

Adapting a Cable TV Phenomenon:
Hosted by Mike O'Malley and Moe Dee on television, GUTS was a cultural touchstone for 1990s youth, and translating its fast-paced, multi-event athletic structure onto 16-bit cartridges was a major milestone for Viacom's early interactive publishing division.
The Iconic Aggro Crag:
Just like on the show, the ultimate goal of the video game campaign was to climb the towering, multi-colored artificial mountain known as the Aggro Crag while racing opponents and dodging simulated hazards.
Realtime Associates' Multi-Event Engine:
Developed by Realtime Associates, the game successfully juggled a diverse variety of gameplay styles—ranging from track-and-field style sprinting and long jump to swimming and climbing mechanics—within standard SNES hardware limits.
