Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City is an action-platformer. Diverting wildly from traditional sports simulations, the game drops basketball superstar Michael Jordan into a surreal, comic-book-style superhero adventure where he must save a charity basketball tournament after his fellow NBA all-stars are kidnapped by an eccentric mad scientist.

Bizarre Superhero Premise:
Instead of dribbling and shooting jumpers on a standard court, Jordan uses magical, enchanted basketballs as projectile weapons to blast through hordes of mutated monsters, walking snowmen, and killer toys across various themed levels of Chicago.
Basketball-Themed Abilities:
True to the athlete's iconic persona, Jordan can perform gravity-defying slam dunks to trigger switches, use basketball-sneaker power-ups for enhanced mobility, and collect specialized elemental balls (like fireball, freeze, and explosive balls) to dispatch enemies.
Electronic Arts Chicago's Vision:
Developed during EA's push into original character-driven platformers on 16-bit hardware, the game leaned heavily into late-90s comic book aesthetics and featured digitized promotional imagery of Jordan himself.
