Chavez II is the sequel to the original boxing simulation. Once again endorsed by the legendary Julio César Chávez. It refined the mechanics of its predecessor, offering improved character animations, a more extensive roster of opponents, and deeper career mode management.

Refinement of the Engine:
Building upon the "behind-the-boxer" perspective established in the first game, Chavez II focused on tighter control responsiveness. The animation frames were smoothed out to better represent the speed of professional-level boxing, addressing one of the primary criticisms of the original title.

Career Depth:
The sequel placed a greater emphasis on the "road to the championship." Players manage a rookie boxer through a series of increasingly difficult matches, requiring strategic balancing of gym training sessions (stamina, power, speed) against fight frequency.
