(Appare! Gateball)

Appare! Gateball is a gateball game and is the only one of its kind to have blessed the PC Engine system. Gateball is a variant or croquet, sport very popular in Japan, Korea, China and Indonesia. The rules of the game are somehow simple - two teams of five players each play against each other. One team plays with the white ball, and the other with the red ball. Each ball is numbered (odd numbers for red team and even numbers for white team) and each one represents one player. Reds start and the goal of the game is for each player to pass through three hoops and hit the peg. This PC Engine version gives players the choice of two different fields (grass and sand) and a list of twelve different players.
