The Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a totally different game and was released before the Sega Mega Drive version. Tails obviously doesn't accompany you, like he can in the Sega Mega Drive version. Sonic also cannot use his famous spin dash move by simply ducking and pressing jump.
