Ichidant-R for Mega Drive was released on January 13, 1995 in Japan at a retail price of 6,800 JPY. It was the first Mege Drive title for 1995 in Japan.

The Minigame Madness:
Moving away from standard puzzle formulas, Ichidant-R tasks players with completing distinct timed challenges—such as conducting an orchestra, playing whack-a-mole, hunting down hidden vampires, navigating mazes, and shooting down UFOs—all under intense time limits.

Four-Player Party Action:
Pushing the Mega Drive's multiplayer capabilities, the home port incorporated support for up to four simultaneous players using the Sega Multi-Tap adapter, making it a legendary couch-party staple in Japan.
