The ASUS Polo (engineered as the Polo-Flex-ATX) is an ultra-compact Small Form Factor (SFF) motherboard manufactured by ASUS in 2001. Designed under strict FlexATX specifications for high-density enterprise desktops and integrated workstation terminals, the board is built around a standard 370-pin Socket 370 layout. It natively accommodates late-generation Intel Pentium III (Coppermine architecture) and Celeron microprocessors running on a synchronous Front-Side Bus (FSB) frequency of 100 MHz or 133 MHz. Core logic operations are driven by the highly integrated Intel 810E (82810E Graphics and Memory Controller Hub) and Intel ICH (82801AA I/O Controller Hub) architecture. Living up to its high-density OEM specialization, the mainboard integrates an onboard Intel 3D Graphics engine utilizing Direct AGP technology, integrated AC'97 audio codec registers, and native 10/100 Ethernet controllers. Physical expansion is deliberately minimalist, offering two standard 32-bit PCI slots and two 168-pin SDRAM DIMM sockets supporting up to 512 MB of PC100/PC133 memory.

Stealth OEM Deployments: Because the ASUS Polo-Flex-ATX board was strictly built for massive wholesale B2B distribution rather than the traditional retail PC building market, it was heavily utilized as a white-label component inside proprietary pre-built workstation systems from major regional brands. The board carries a highly specialized firmware block optimized to run quietly under restrictive thermal boundaries and basic low-profile active cooling sinks.
