Pin Pong (c) 1974 Atari. A one or two players black and white video pinball game, with a rather crude table. - TRIVIA - Released in October 1974, selling at an MSRP of $395. Pin Pong was the very first video game that simulates the play of the classic pin-ball machine. The ball is generated by a patented motion circuit, and each target is surrounded by once or more zones that determine the direction of the bounce. A gravity algorithm accelerates the ball downward to give realistic pin-ball play on the screen. - STAFF - Designed and engineered by: Harold Lee - SOURCES - Atari Inc: Business Is Fun by Curt Vendel and Marty Goldberg Machine's picture.
