Time Killers was removed from many arcades for being just a little too gory. This game had a unique button layout that no other games uses. Even its sequel, "Blood Storm", doesn't use it, but instead uses the "Mortal Kombat" five button X pattern. The unique part is those five buttons are laid out in a pattern that resembles the human anatomy on the Time Killer control panel. There are many moves that requires hitting all 5 buttons at the same time, which is easy to do with the above layout (use your entire hand to press all 5 buttons simultaneously).
