The Amutec Robot MK1 was released in 1987, it featured rocking movement, and featured talking sounds.

There's also an MK2 version of the ride released in 1999, and an MK3 version was released in 2005. Each Robot had a different design. The MK2 Robot uses the same sounds as the MK1. The screen inside the ride was also used in the Space Copter, also released by Amutec.
