Also released as "Star Fire [Upright model]". This is the first arcade coin-operated video game to maintain a high score table by accepting and displaying the names of winning players. A 'Star Fire II' update was intended to go into the last run of Star Fire units, it features a more refined high score display and easier high score input. - TIPS AND TRICKS - * Secret messages : 1) If you enter 'DBR' it will put 'HI DAVE' on the screen; It's David Rolfe. 2) If you enter 'TZM' it will put 'HI TED' on the screen; It's Ted Michon. 3) If you enter 'SKO' it will put 'HI SUSAN' on the screen for a second or two before showing the high-score table; It's Susan K.
