Desert Fox (c) 1972 MCI (Milwaukee Coin Industries). Control an airplane flying over the desert and shoot the enemy bases, tanks, trucks, etc... The realistic World War II desert scenes are authentic replicas of the Panzer Division's tanks, trucks, weapons, carriers and personnel. Features exciting joystick response controls flight as player dives his plane at Rommel's Afrika Korps. Features real machine gun action, complete with tracers. Player-pilot sees and hears his target explode. Sound effect include : variable pitch plane engine in combat, rapid-fire machine gun, exploding tanks and trucks. - TECHNICAL - Operator control of both game time and difficulty. Game time can be set for 60 seconds, 90 seconds or 120 seconds. - TRIVIA - Released in May 1972. Rommel's Africa Corps (formed on February 12 1941) was the corps-level headquarters controlling the German Panzer divisions in Libya and Egypt during the North African Campaign of World War II. - TIPS AND TRICKS - * Difficulty decreases as game time increases. * Special Bonus : 8 hits wins player 30 seconds additional flying time. - SOURCES - Machine's picture.
