Actual Entry (non editable)
EZ: Ehrgeiz - God Bless the Ring (c) 1998 Square Co., Ltd. The title means 'ambition', and that's an essential quality in this 3-D multi-level combat game. The story so far: a mysterious weapon has been found in the remains of an old German castle. This weapon, known as EHRGEIZ, is awarded each year to the winner of a tournament set up to establish the greatest fighter in the world. Now a sinister consortium wants to use it for its own nefarious purposes. The sixteen characters include six from Final Fantasy, with favourites such as Cloud and Sephiroth guesting alongside the game's very own Godhand and Wolf Girl Jo. With play in three Arcade modes and a Quest option for stand-alone RPG gaming, you will fight in 12 different arenas to win the ultimate weapon. From the superb CG movie opening sequence to the four mini-games, the graphics and the freedom of the fighting action will blow you away. So much more than a fight game, Ehrgeiz blasts down the genre barriers. - TECHNICAL - Model SLPS-01750 - TRIVIA - Ehrgeiz was released on December 17, 1998 in Japan.
