Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for XBOX 360 was released on February 10, 2009 in North America. It was then re-released as a Platinum Hits edition during the fourth quarter of 2009.

TIPS AND TRICKS

To unlock Alien Syndrome, reach the third mission in Alien Storm without losing a life.

To unlock the arcade version of Altered Beast, collect 100,000 points or higher in the first level of the Genesis version of Altered Beast.

To unlock Congo Bongo, complete the 1st level of Streets of Rage with all 3 characters.

To unlock Fantasy Zone, score 80,000 points in Flicky.

To unlock Golden Axe Warrior for the Master System, use magic a total of 10 times in Golden Axe III.

To unlock the original Phantasy Star for the Master System, defeat the first boss in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 with 2 players.

To unlock Shinobi, complete the first level of Shinobi III without using continues.

To unlock Space Harrier, score over 1.5 million points in the first level of Super Thunder Blade.

To unlock Zaxxon, collect five bonus coins in DecapAttack.
