Spectre is a futuristic first-person tank combat game. Originally popularized on the Apple Macintosh computer, the SNES adaptation plunges players into virtual reality battle grids where they must pilot an agile combat tank, collect flags, dodge enemy drones, and blast rival cyberspace vehicles across geometric, wireframe-style arenas.
Description from the Back cover:
TELEPORT YOUR SUPER NES INTO CYBER WAR!
Hone your radar. Pick your battle tank. And get ready to launch war deep in Cyber-Net territory. You're up against the worst. Massive Juggernauts. Armored Decimators. Stealth Hunters and more. But you've got heavy artillery, three kinds of advanced tanks and the speed to cut and rum when it's the only way out. One player or two player, the only way to survive is to play it cool and tough as a cyborg.

From Macintosh to 16-Bit Consoles:
Bringing a famous Mac desktop network game over to home console hardware required clever optimization to simulate smooth 3D polygon and flat-shaded vector rendering on SNES architecture.
CyberSoft's Publishing Footprint:
Known for handling unique computer-to-console conversions and niche action titles during the mid-90s, CyberSoft gave Spectre a dedicated cartridge release in North America.
