Mario's Time Machine is an educational platform and historical exploration game. Originally released on MS-DOS computers, the SNES version was completely redesigned with a side-scrolling perspective. The plot follows Mario as he uses Professor Von Bolt's "Timulator" time machine to travel through various epochs of human history, returning famous stolen artifacts to their rightful historical owners and time periods before Bowser can permanently alter the timeline.

TRIVIA

Historical Figures and Artifacts:
Throughout his journey, Mario interacts with iconic historical figures such as Thomas Edison, Ludwig van Beethoven, Isaac Newton, and Abraham Lincoln, returning items like Benjamin Franklin's kite and Mozart's manuscript.

The Software Toolworks' Nintendo Collaboration:
Building on previous educational titles like Mario is Missing!, The Software Toolworks worked closely with Nintendo to adapt recognizable characters and universes into structured learning software for school-aged audiences.
