BreakThru! is a tile-matching puzzle game. Endorsed by Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov, the game challenges players to clear grids of colored squares by clicking on groups of two or more adjacent tiles of the same color, causing the remaining tiles to shift and fall.

GAME ID: SNS-ABXE-USA
Released in June 1994 in the USA.
Development Attribution:
While often associated with Spectrum HoloByte (the publisher), the SNES version was developed by Artech Digital Entertainment. The original concept was created by Steve Fry for the Japanese company ZOO Corporation.
The "Pajitnov" Endorsement:
Although Alexey Pajitnov’s name and likeness were prominently featured on the box art and title screen to capitalize on the success of Tetris, his direct involvement was limited to an endorsement; the game itself was not designed by him.
Gameplay Dynamics:
The game features a unique two-phase mechanic for each level. Players first clear clusters of tiles, followed by a second phase where they must manage the remaining columns of blocks as they fall, often requiring careful planning to avoid deadlocks before the five-minute timer expires
