Beavis and Butt-Head is a point-and-click adventure/platformer developed by Radical Entertainment. Unlike the version released for the Sega Genesis, the SNES iteration is widely noted for its different level structure and slightly more puzzle-oriented gameplay, tasking the duo with finding tickets to a GWAR concert.

Description from the back cover:
They say that if you get your picture taken doing cool things, you can get to see GWAR and stuff.
But taking pictures of yourself playing a video game doesn't count, moron.

TRIVIA

Released in November 1994 in USA.

Developmental Distinction:
While the Sega Genesis version was a more straightforward side-scrolling platformer, the SNES version leans heavily into the adventure genre. Players must interact with a variety of items and characters throughout their neighborhood, the local mall, and the school, often requiring specific item combinations to progress.

Signature Tone:
The game developers worked closely with the show's producers to capture the cynical, low-brow humor of the MTV series. This is reflected in the dialogue boxes and the characters' animations, which are frequently cited for their accuracy to the source material.

The "GWAR" Goal:
The narrative's singular focus—getting tickets to see the band GWAR—was a unique choice for a licensed game. It allowed for some of the game's more absurd quest items, including household objects that the duo mistakes for cool gear.
