Genpei Touma Den - Kan no Ni [Model NC92002]

Genpei Touma Den - Kan no Ni is the sequel to Genpei Touma Den, an arcade game originally released in 1986 (this second episode is however exclusive to the PC Engine system!).

The evil Minamoto no Yoritomo and his ruthless henchmen were defeated once before by Taira no Kagekiyo, the undead samurai. But the victory was to be short lived and they are now hiding in a different realm called the 'Dark Side', waiting for the day of their resurrection. Kagekiyo is ready to fight them again, and he is determined to put down his arch-enemy once and for all. Unlike its predecessor, Genpei Touma Den Kan no Ni features only one mode of play (the small and top-down views have been omitted) and a total of seven stages. As expected, there are a few power-ups and upgrades along the way, such as health extensions, sword upgrades and so forth.
