The Advanced Pico Beena is a children’s educational console developed by Sega Toys, released as the successor to the original Pico system.
Designed as a home edutainment console, it connects to a television and uses specially designed “books” and cartridges that combine physical input with digital learning activities. Children interact using a stylus-like controller to complete educational games covering reading, writing, mathematics, logic, memory, creativity, and basic life skills.
The system features improved hardware compared to the original Pico, including enhanced graphics, more interactive software, and expanded learning content aimed at preschool and early elementary education. It continues the concept of 'play-to-learn' by integrating storytelling, mini-games, and character-driven lessons.
