TRIVIA

Released on April 6, 1990 (Friday) in Japan at a retail price of 7,800 JPY.

Devil Busters, the first dungeon of the game, is a recreation of the first town and dungeon from the first Megami Tensei. At the end of the game, it is revealed that it was programmed by Akemi Nakajima, the previous game's protagonist.

This game is where Jack Frost, Atlus' mascot, made his debut.

TIPS AND TRICKS
AUTOPILOT:
The autopilot program remembers the paths you've walked, and will automatically retrace your steps. If you use it when entering a dungeon for the first time, it'll help prevent you from getting lost. (500 steps is the maximum that can be saved.)

SOUND TEST:
In a town, stand in front of the building where the save/warp Totems are and enter the building while holding Up+Right+B+A on controller 2. If done right, you'll get a sound test menu instead of the save/warp menu.

INCREASE MAX HP
If you use a Muscle Drink (health recovery item sold on shops) when your HP is full, you'll get a Max HP boost instead.
