Dragon Slayer IV was released on July 17, 1987 (Friday) in Japan at a retail price of 4,900 JPY.

The game was called DRAFAMI during development (DRAgonslayer of FAMIcom). The development took about 3 months.

It was exported in the USA as Legacy of the Wizard [Model NES-LC-USA].

TIPS AND TRICKS

MUSIC TEST
First, connect two controllers.
At the title screen, press controller 1's LEFT/UP+START+SELECT buttons and controller 2's RIGHT/DOWN+A+B buttons at the same time. If you hear a sound, you have succeeded.
Then, at the start of the game, move the pointer to the painting on the wall in the house and press A on your controller.

SEE STAFF ROLL
First, connect two controllers.
At the title screen, hold down the LEFT and A button on a controller and the RIGHT button on the other.
(One joystick can be used if the controller can be pressed left and right simultaneously.)
