Circus Charlie for Famicom was released by Soft pro on March 4, 1986 in Japan. This portage was produced by Konami.
Fiery loops (lion ride) and pony ride stages play 'American patrol' by Glenn Miller.
Like the MSX version, trampoline, water trampoline stage, stage choice (when available), animation after trapeze round, coin from burning pot, bonus scores given by a hawk for flawless completion and bonus life doll have been removed due to space limitations. Bonus count is also different - instead of a timer shown in coin-op release and bonus calculation after the round, the bonus is awarded just after the round (with no tables).
Level B starts from stage 6 encountered in game A, but the initial stage number is still 1 after starting B mode.
